Jiaan is a calm, friendly, and hardworking team member at Sharetea, one of the biggest bubble tea chains both nationally and globally. With a love for bubble tea that started back in school, joining the team was the perfect way to explore new flavours while doing something fun and fulfilling.

Can you tell us a little more about your journey and how you joined the team?

"I’ve always loved bubble tea, so I started working at Sharetea while I was still in school. It gave me the chance to learn more about the drinks I enjoy and be part of a fun, fast-paced environment."

What do you love to do when you're not at work?

"I’m really into music—especially hardstyle—and I follow Tottenham. I also love travelling. Vietnam is a favourite, and I recently visited South Korea."

What products or services does Sharetea offer that are unique, and what are customers loving right now?

"We offer a huge variety of drinks and toppings, and right now, customers are loving the Taro Milk Tea with tapioca pearls. It’s a classic and super popular."

What’s your go-to drink and what are customers loving?

"My favourite is the Grape Lychee Fusion with sour grape and lychee toppings. It’s refreshing and has a great balance of flavours. I also love seeing the creative combos customers come up with!"

What do you love most about your job?

"I love seeing all the different drink combinations people order—it’s always interesting and sometimes surprising! Plus, the flexibility here helps me balance work and study, which is super important."

Funniest customer moment?

"Some customers have asked for just a cup of toppings, or they’ll ask us to pop the straw in for them—which is kind of the fun part of bubble tea!"

Do you have a favourite time of year in the centre?

"I love the buzz from October to February—the centre has such a festive feel and it’s always busy and full of energy."
